Consulting
An outside opinion with the authority to be uncomfortable: assessments, architecture reviews, gap analyses and second opinions on decisions that are expensive to reverse.
Learn moreZETOSON is an independent automotive engineering contractor: ISO 26262 functional safety, systems and requirements engineering, model-based design in Matlab and Simulink, and instrument cluster software. Engaged as a consultant, as a supplier of a fixed work package, or as the person leading a workstream inside your programme — across the European Union.

ZETOSON is Tsvetan Tsvetkov, a systems engineer who has spent more than a decade on the safety and driver-information software of cars built by Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz — usually under contract to the supplier delivering the programme.
Every engagement below is one of four commercial shapes.
An outside opinion with the authority to be uncomfortable: assessments, architecture reviews, gap analyses and second opinions on decisions that are expensive to reverse.
Learn moreA defined scope, delivered against your specification, to your process, inside your toolchain — fixed deliverables, agreed acceptance criteria, one party accountable.
Learn moreTaking technical responsibility for a workstream inside your programme, including the engineers on it — planning, reviews, escalation and the decisions that cannot wait.
Learn moreGetting a product that was not built for the European market through the requirements that apply to it — for manufacturers and suppliers placing goods in the EU.
Learn moreA structured, traceable method that reduces errors, saves costs and accelerates design cycles. Scroll to build the vehicle.
We understand the system, its context and its constraints. We define clear, measurable and traceable requirements.
We build functional representations with Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow and Simscape.
We validate behaviour with virtual prototypes before physical development.
We analyse risks and define mitigation measures in line with ISO 26262.
We document every stage to guarantee traceability and regulatory compliance.
Instrument cluster live
Before a single part is machined, the whole vehicle exists as a model: loads, ratios, response times and failure modes are all exercised in simulation.
The ladder frame and axle group come first: load paths, weight distribution and the limit each member has to hold.
Packaging follows. Cab, fifth wheel and trailer set the geometry everything else has to live inside.
Engine, gearbox and propshaft become one model: torque, ratios and losses, exercised across the full duty cycle.
The pneumatic circuit is simulated end to end, because response time along a sixteen-metre combination is a safety number.
The J1939 bus ties it together. Every message has an owner, a rate and a timeout.
Spare wheel located
There is no prototype flight to learn from. The system is verified on paper, in models and on the bench before anything leaves the pad.
Length, diameter and mass budget come first. Every kilogram added downstream has to be taken from somewhere.
Tanks, interstage and fairing: the load path from engine mount to payload, sized for flight loads.
Engine cluster, turbomachinery and feed lines, modelled together because they fail together.
Guidance, the data bus and the sensors that close every control loop.
Staging and fairing jettison: single-shot events verified by analysis, because there is no second attempt.
